Jersey shore wedding

I had the wonderful opportunity to photography Meghan & Kyle’s wedding on the northern Jersey shore near the Monmouth Beach area. Every wedding I photograph is always a joy to shoot, but it is always a little extra special when I have the opportunity to travel to new areas to photograph. Meghan & Kyle were married in the Atlantic Highlands area and then we traveled towards the Monmouth Beach area to do some photography on the beach, followed by a stop at the beautiful Monmouth University. What a magnificent place to photograph. We could have spent all day there amongst the stunning architecture. Ihope you enjoy these photographs.

Best regards,

Jason

  1. Beating the odds, I awoke to the sun streaming in my window on our wedding day. Somehow the weather held up for the entire day (even with a 90% chance of rain), but the heat and horrible humidity were unbearable. Jason managed to help us take the beautiful outdoor wedding pictures I’d always dreamed of without any hint of how we all may have been feeling. He did a phenomenal job photographing our wedding from beginning to end. He was the perfect blend of professional and discreet. I’ve been to some weddings where the photographer is more interested in what they want than what the couple does. We had the exact opposite experience. Jason reminded us of shots we’d mentioned we wanted to get months before the wedding that we otherwise would have completely forgotten about, and even made himself available to family members to get memorable shots during any down time (which was much appreciated!).
Jason had done my cousin’s wedding a few years earlier, and I happened to ask for his card. In all the time since and all the weddings I’ve been to, I have yet to meet a better or more pleasant photographer. So, immediately after I got engaged I dug out his card and contacted him to see if he would be availble for my date. I’m so glad I saved that card. My mom already hopes to talk Jason into coming back to NJ when my 3 younger sisters get married. Thanks Jason!

  2. Thanks Meghan for the kind words. Yeah…you are right about the weather, when I looked outside before leaving for your house, I thought we would not get anything at the beach. I would look forward to the opportunity to return again for your sister’s wedding. Thanks again.
    All the best,
    Jason
